Painted in my studio, March 2020. During this time of social distancing I am taking great comfort in painting cheerful spring flowers. The table in my studio is starting to look like a florists shop, along with all the usual clutter of course. When I saw the sunlight coming through these daffodils I had to get to work. I posted a time lapse video of the whole process of painting this on my Instagram account.
