Painted in my garden April 2020. During this time of social distancing I am taking great comfort in painting cheerful spring flowers. I am captivated by the pink blossom on the enormous cherry tree in next door's garden. I've painted smaller studies of it in previous years and this time I felt inspired to tackle something much more ambitious!
